Scholarships and Awards

The Western Museums Association offers scholarship funds through the Wanda Chin Professional Development Support Fund to enable a broad range of members' attendance at annual meetings.  We seek contributions from individuals and institutions to fund the conference attendance of a diverse membership.

WMA awards the Directors' Chair Award each year to honor a member of our field who has richly contributed to our community and museums. 

The Charles Redd Award,  underwritten by the Charles M. Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University, honors an excellent exhibition illuminating the American West.
